On the cover: John Anderson works on a circa 1926 Q Boat that he restored in Warren, Maine. While he was able to salvage some of the original wood, he had to get new pieces of oak for the backbone, Spanish cedar for the planking below the water line, Sitka spruce for the deck and spars, and mahogany for the house.
