Maine Maritime Women Sailors Take Home the Hardware

Our hats are off to the woman sailors at Maine Maritime, who won the Maine Boats, Homes & Harbors Woman Skipper Trophy aboard Wizard, a Fishers Island 31, after two days of racing under blue skies at the Camden Classics Cup on July 26 and 27, 2024.

The trophy, officially named the Penobscot Maiden Perpetual Trophy, is awarded to the woman skipper with the fewest points in the largest class of the Camden Classics Cup.

Other trophy winners include Camden Classics Cup, Black Watch; Lyman-Morse Trophy, Tink; Concordia Trophy, Otter; Artisan Boatworks Day Racer Tropy, Frolic; Taratine yacht Club Daily Sailing Trophy, Bellweather; Yacht Club Challenge Trophy, New York Yacht Club.
