New Hinckley 41 Makes a Splash

Hinckley Yachts has just announced the launch of the new Hinckley 41, a handsome looking Maine-built boat with a long list of amenities for owners to enjoy.

The new boat is powered by triple Mercury Verado V10 350-hp outboards. Top speed with the standard engine configuration is about 55 mph; an upgrade to triple V10 400-hp engines will provide a top speed approaching 60 mph. The boat is designed with a 22-degree deadrise hull that’s “engineered to slice through short chop,” according to the company’s release.

Length-overall, which includes engines and an over-sized swim platform, is 45 feet, 4 inches. Draft with the engines up is 2 feet, 2 inches; with them down, the boat draws 3 feet, 1 inch, which makes exploring skinny water and beach access possible.

The Hinckley 41 builds on the Picnic Boat 39 and retains that model’s forward seating area. The 41 includes an amidships storage area under lift-up cockpit seats and can accommodate toys like inflatable paddleboards, scuba gear or a Seabob. Down below, there’s a berth and en suite head.

Tankage on the boat indicates it’s capable of doing long-distance runs in comfort. Cruising speed is 33 mph. With 450 gallons of fuel, it will have a range of 403 miles.

“The Hinckley 41 is for those who desire the thrill of outboard power while embracing the artistry and pedigree that define our brand,” said Gavin McClintock, CEO at Hinckley Yachts, in announcing the launch. “This yacht is a masterful balance of performance and refinement, crafted for those who demand the very best in design, speed, and capability.”
