Yacht design subject of forum

It’s fall and that means it’s time to start dreaming about boat projects.

The folks at Lyman Morse have put together an impressive panel of naval architects and designers to talk about yacht design. The event will take place Saturday Oct. 21, beginning with an Open House at Lyman-Morse in Thomaston. Designers will be on hand to showcase their latest work from 10 -1pm. Tours will also be offered of the Lyman-Morse facility. Enjoy Rockland on your own for lunch then meet at the Farnsworth Art Museum's auditorium at 4 pm for a Designers' Panel Discussion and Q&A segment. Afterwards, Café Miranda is catering a cocktail reception at 250 Main Hotel. The cost to attend all events is $25.
