Marina Holdings of Yarmouth, in partnership with Resilient Marinas, has acquired the Irwin Marine dealership that services the Lake Winnipesaukee region with operations in Laconia, Alton Bay and Hudson, New Hampshire.
Under the agreement, Marina Holdings will manage and operate the sales and service business, while Resilient will own the marina property and real estate assets, according to a release.
“The collaboration reflects a shared commitment by Marina Holdings and Resilient Marinas to invest in quality marine businesses and support their long-term success while preserving the characteristics that have made them successful. As such, it is designed to provide Irwin Marine with enhanced access to capital, operational support, and organizational structure—positioning the business to grow and thrive in the years ahead,” the release states.
“Irwin Marine has built an outstanding reputation in the New Hampshire market,” said Steve Arnold, owner of Marina Holdings. “With the support of Resilient Marinas, we will be able to invest in the business, support the team, and continue delivering the high level of service customers expect.”
Irwin will continue to operate under its own name, with its team remaining in place.
Marina Holdings owns a number of marine-related businesses in Yarmouth and Naples, Maine, including Yarmouth Boat Yard, Freedom Boat Club, Sea Tow, Moose Landing Marina and the Maine Boating Academy.
