General Information

Attendance: Each year, the show attracts between 8,000 and 10,000 attendees. They come from all over, primarily drawn from the readers of Maine Boats, Homes & Harbors magazine, which produces the event. The attendees are mature, upscale, and affluent. The magazine’s subscribers have average annual household incomes of $282,000 and an average net worth of more than $4.5 million. They have a proven appetite for the finer things in life—yachts, custom furniture, art, and gorgeous homes.

Events: This is much more than just a boat show—there’s something for every member of the family. There will be live music, antique boat displays, the World Championship Boatyard Dog® Trials (pre-qualified dogs only, on Sunday), activities for families, and a mouth-watering variety of tastes from specialty food vendors.

The Site: Rockland (the self-styled "Arts Capital of Maine") is home to several successful summer festivals. It’s the hub of Maine’s Penobscot Bay, a world-renowned yachting and cruising destination. Just outside the show entrances is Rockland’s historic Main Street, lined with restaurants, antiques shops, art galleries, a boutique movie theater, and museums. Click here for more information about Rockland, Maine.

Event Promotion: We pull out all the stops to bring you the largest and best-qualified audience we can. For starters, we bring you the readers of Maine Boats, Homes & Harbors magazine and the visitors to our award-winning website: maineboats.com. You’ll see extensive ad campaigns in regional media including Soundings, regional radio, online resources, plus print ads in local papers from Kittery to Calais.

Space Options

There are several display options depending on your business and what you wish to display. We offer tent booth space, exhibit space on land, and exhibit space in the water.

Space will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.

Land Space: Land space is charged by the square foot. The minimum space size is 10'x10'. Larger space must be in 5' increments. No shelter or furniture is provided. If you have other space requirements, please talk with us so we can configure a space that suits your needs.
