“As a child I spent my summers on Lake Megunticook in Camden and became enchanted with the lake’s ever-changing landscape. I am a visual learner; photography was a natural fit. I attended The New England School of Photography in Boston, and have taken master classes at the former Maine Photographic Workshop, now the Maine Media Workshops and College in Rockport, Maine, where I drew inspiration from my extraordinary teachers: Paul Caponigro, Ernst Haas, and Dick Durrance. Fast-forward through business ventures, marriage, and raising two wonderful daughters, and suddenly the world went digital on me. It was a change I resisted for many years, but the world changes. I knew that if I wanted to continue making pictures, I needed to join the 21st-century digital revolution. That has made all the difference. Lake life still enchants me. Whether in fog or the brilliance of a clear sunlit day, it is fuel for my soul and a wondrous journey through photography.”
