Silent Maid, a 2009 catboat, takes top honors in Castine to Camden race

Under clear skies and a dying northwest breeze moving to the southwest, thirty-six boats set sail from the Castine harbor headed for Camden. Because of a dying wind and a turning tide, the race was shortened.
Camden Classics Cup draws record number of boats

The event, presented by Lyman-Morse from Friday through Saturday, July 26-27 included racing in and around outer Camden Harbor and Penobscot Bay. Some 75 yachts competed, up from 68 last year, in nine classes.
