There is a lot for the whole family to see and do at the Maine Boats, Homes & Harbors Show. We schedule live music every day, events for children from treasure hunts to model pond races, antique boats and engines, and the annual running of the World Championship Boatyard Dog® Trials happens every year on Sunday.

    On the Waterfront
  • World Championship Boatyard Dog® Trials. Head-to-paw competition among the cream of Maine’s canine corps (pre-qualified dogs only). Sunday, 10:30 a.m.
  • Trials and demonstrations of small boats, canoes, and kayaks. Ongoing.
  • Plein air mural painting by Buckley Smith. On the pier.

    • On the Shore

    • Antique marine engines on display. Hosted by the Maine Antique Power Association.
    • A selection of modern and antique ice boats. Hosted by the Chickawaukie Ice Boaters Club.

    On the Model Pond

    • Model sailboat rentals.
    • Children’s model boatbuilding and sailing.
     

    Kids’ Corner

    • Face painting...games...prizes...and a trip to the Treasure Chest.
    • Explore the playset of northern white cedar, compliments of Cedar Works.
